8 Inch (203mm) Fin Holder Kit

The 8 Inch Fin Holder is designed to hold a single fin (up to 3/8 thick) in place while the root tab is glued in place whether it is a through wall or air frame surface mount. There is an adjustment knob which can be tightened to keep the holder in place on the air frame.  A spring clamp (not included) can be used to clamp the fin in place.

This fin holder consists of two half rings (identical) and a right & left "arm". When clamped onto an airframe, the horizontal part extends six inches over the air frame and 4.25 inches up from the air frame.  If the normal arms are not long enough or high enough, please contact SMT Designs with information about your requirements.
